The cotton platform of Louis Dreyfus Commodities, through acquisition of Dunavant Enterprises Pty Ltd Australia, is now a major player in the Australian cotton scene.

Through the Dunavant Enterprises acquisition, Louis Dreyfus Commodities provides a comprehensive marketing service to growers in all cotton producing regions in Australia, and is currently handling around 20% of the Australian production annually.

In addition to the marketing facilities provided for Australian growers, Louis Dreyfus Commodities through it acquisition of Dunavant Warehousing Pty Ltd, owns and operates warehouses, container packing and rail facilities at Dalby (Qld) and Moree (NSW), providing an integrated warehouse and logistics system, which ensures timely and accurate removal of cotton from Gins, first rate storage facilities and speedy handling and delivery of product to all our markets.
